PITCHING

Pitching session will take 2 days: from 27th to 28th of September 2018. Each team will have exactly 5 minutes to pitch their project and Decision Makers will have 5 minutes to comments.

  • The pitching team consists of producer and one other person chosen by the producer.
  • Presented projects will have priority to book One-to-One meetings with Decision Makers.
  • Observers will have an opportunity to schedule meetings with the projects and with Decision Makers. These meetings will open if time slots are be available and after acceptance from the requested person.

Pitching

Development and Work-in-Progress can take part in pitching session during Warsaw Kids Film Forum 2018 from 27th to 28th of September.

Pitcher:

  • Take part in One-To-One meetings with Decision Makers and Observers
  • Take part in the pitching workshop in 26th of September
  • Access to all events during the forum for 3 days: from 26th to 28th of September.
  • Taking part in the pitch session and pitching workshop is free of charge.

Projects will be assigned to two sections depending on the level of project development:

1. Development:

  • Projects at development or production stage
  • Full-length: live action, animation, documentary and television series for children
  • Projects must have producer on board.

Required Materials

(Submissions must be in English.)

  • Treatment [5-10 pages]
  • Description of Visual Style [1 page – max. 1800 characters]
  • Description of film characters [1 page – max. 1800 characters]
  • Moodboard [max. 1 page]
  • Financing Structure of the project, budget in euro [1 page]

2. Work-in-Progress

  • Projects at the production or postproduction phase with developer visual material
  • Full-length: live action, animation, documentary and television series for children
  • Projects must have producer on board.

Required Materials

  • Description of Visual Style [1 page max 1800 characters]
  • Description of film characters [1 page max. 1800 characters]
  • Moodboard [max. 1 page]
  • Financing Structure of the project, budget in euro [1 page]
  • Video file or link to video.

Pitching Workshops

Only for projects which take part in Pitching session during Warsaw Kids Film Forum 2018. Projects that qualify for the pitch session will have the opportunity to participate in this intensive workshop where they will prepare their pitch before presenting it to a panel of experts and selected audience. The workshop will take place on the first day of the forum during Inspiration Day.

The best pitched project of the Warsaw Kids Film Forum 2018 wins:

  • production and post production services at CeTA studios (award for 2 projects),
  • invitation to the Pitching during The Financing Forum for Kids Content (March 2019) in Malmö,
  • invitation to the EAVE Marketing Workshop (November 2018) in Luxembourg.
