Apply with your project to Warsaw Kids Film Forum, an international pitching forum!

From the 27th-29th of September, the first annual Warsaw Kids Film Forum will be held during The Kids Film Festival in Warsaw. The application deadline to take part in this international pitching session, for films and television series aimed at the children’s market, is June 30th, 2017.

During the forum there will be; workshops, lectures and case studies about producing films for children in Poland and Europe; as well as, work in progress screenings, and One-To-One consultations by script consultants, distributors, sales agents and producers. There will also be the possibility to discus ideas for projects with experts at the Consultant Tables. If you would like to apply with your project to take part in the pitching forum you can do so through our website. The application deadline is June 30th, and participation is free of charge.

The aim of the Forum is to create a space in which to discuss and exchange production experiences between: creators, producers, television representatives, distributors and sales agents from Poland and Europe.

Warsaw Kids Film Forum will also be presenting projects being developed at Kids Film Pro, a development program of films for children

What kind of projects are we looking for?

  • Projects from Poland and Europe: in development, at treatment phase, with a script, or in early production.
  • Projects with a screenwriter and a producer on board (a director is not required).
  • Feature films, animations, documentaries as well as TV series for children.

The winner of the best pitch will be invited to present their project during The Financing Forum for Kids Content 2018, in Malmo.

The deadline for applying to pitch at WKFF is June 30th, 2017. The deadline for the remaining participants (without pitching a project, but with the possibility of taking part in One-To-One sessions) will be announced at a later date. Warsaw Kids Film Forum will take place from the 27th-29th of September 2017, at the Muranów Cinema in Warsaw during the 4th edition of The Kids Film Festival.
