Juraj was born in Bratislava and lived for 15 years in Geneva, Bilbao and Paris. He is a MAIA and EAVE graduate, co-founder of CEE Animation and CEE Animation Workshop. His company Artichoke co-produced Luca Tóth’s “Superbia” premiered in Cannes in 2016 and currently works on the new film by French director André Bonzel titled “Et j’aime à la fureur” (SK, FR), animated feature “White Plastic Sky” (Hun, SK, Fra) and puppet stop-motion for children “Of Unwanted Things and People” (CZ, SK, PL, SL).

CEE Animation is the new umbrella name for all the activities previously known as VISEGRAD ANIMATION FORUM, or VAF. CEE Animation unites professionals and associations of producers from the animation industry from 21 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. We are organizers of one of the largest pitching platforms for animated projects in development from the CEE region, every year in May in Trebon, Czech Republic. Since 2017 the CEE Animation Workshops offers advanced training for producer’s and project development with international experts.
